Welcome Week is the kick-off for new students at the University of Southern Indiana! It is a week full of activities and events to help them meet other new students, get adjusted to their new surroundings, and get off on the right foot to start their academic career at USI.
Welcome Week starts August 22, 2013 with Welcome Week/Housing Check-in. Roughly 1000 new students will move into campus housing and check-in for the Welcome Week program on this day. Again, this year we will provide the services our students need in one consolidated area, the Physical Activities Center. Students will check in for Welcome Week and campus housing, activate meal plans, register their vehicle, etc. As a local USI business you are invited to participate in this event.
We have the following levels of involvement for you:
Staff a booth at welcome Week/Housing Check-in in the Physical Activities Center on Thursday, August 22 from 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. Set up begins at 7 a.m. and we ask all businesses to be set by 8:30 a.m.
USI will provide a six foot table, 2 chairs. Electrical and wireless internet access is limited and will be provided based upon requests and registration date. If additional space is needed, we will do our best to accommodate, but can not guarantee space.

Businesses must agree to the policies established for this event. Please review those Business_policies prior to registering. Registrations will be accepted until all spaces or filled or Wednesday, August 7, 2013.
Provide the Office of Student Development Programs copies of fliers or coupons that will be placed on general information tables at the check-in for students and parents to pick up. Fliers or coupons need to be delivered to Office of Student Development Programs, University Center East 1256, by Friday, August 16, 2013. All fliers and coupons remaining after the event will be recycled.
